Calculate the weight of aluminum plate, bar, and block by dimensions and alloy. Supports 5052, 6061, 7075, and 7050 with exact density values. Enter length, width, and thickness to get weight in pounds and kilograms.

Multiply length x width x thickness (all in inches) to get volume in cubic inches. Then multiply by the alloy density in pounds per cubic inch. For 6061 aluminum, the density is 0.098 lb per cubic inch.
7075 aluminum has a density of 0.101 lb per cubic inch (2.81 g per cubic centimeter). This is slightly higher than 6061 (0.098 lb per cubic inch) due to its zinc content.
A 1 x 12 x 24 inch piece of 6061-T651 aluminum plate weighs approximately 28.2 pounds (1 x 12 x 24 x 0.098 = 28.22 lbs).
