Square the radius (half the diameter), multiply by pi and the length for volume, then multiply by density. Example: a 2" diameter x 12" long 6061 round bar is 37.7 cubic inches x 0.0975 = 3.68 lbs.
Density varies by alloy chemistry, not by temper. The 5000 series marine alloys are the lightest, the zinc and copper alloyed 7000 and 2000 series are the heaviest.
