DFARS Compliant Aluminum Supply
What DFARS requires
DFARS clause 252.225-7014 restricts the acquisition of specialty metals for defense applications. Aluminum alloys used in structural components must be melted and manufactured in the United States or a qualifying country. Procurement teams are required to maintain full traceability back to the melt source for every piece of material entering a defense program.
Domestic melt across all alloys
Nox Metals stocks 100% domestic melt aluminum plate across all alloys we carry. This includes 6061-T651, 7075-T651, 7050-T7451, and 5000 series plate. When you order DFARS material from us, you receive plate that was melted and manufactured in the United States with complete documentation to prove it.
Documentation and traceability
Every DFARS order ships with a full documentation package: mill test reports, country of melt certification, and country of manufacture certification. These documents trace the material from the smelter through the rolling mill to our facility and into your hands. This is the documentation your quality system and your customer require.
Built for defense and aerospace quality systems
Our cert packages are structured for AS9100 and defense quality system requirements. If you are a machine shop cutting parts for a defense prime, or a prime contractor managing your own supply chain, we provide the traceability documentation you need to stay compliant.
