Our facility is at 1350 Jarvis St, Ferndale, MI 48220. We cut and ship nationwide from this location.
Is Nox Metals DFARS compliant?
Yes. DFARS-compliant material is stocked for everything we sell; choose it when you quote. Domestic-melt is also available. Origin is on every cert.
How long has Nox been in business?
Nox Metals was founded in 2024 in Detroit, MI. We are building America's first automated aluminum plate cutting operation.

How fast can I get a quote?

Is there a minimum order?
$180 order minimum. No per-line minimum, no minimum quantity.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept credit cards, ACH transfers, wire transfers, and net terms for qualified accounts. Contact sales@noxmetals.co for terms.
Can I reorder from my portal?
Yes. The Gondor customer portal shows your full order history, certs, and tracking. Reorder any past configuration from the portal. It's priced at today's market price, so the price may vary.
Can I save a quote and come back to it?
Yes. With a Nox account, save your quote and check its stated expiration for how long the price is valid.
Can I lock a price or get contract pricing?
Prices update daily with the metal market, so there's no contract pricing. A saved quote shows when its price expires.
CNC Job Shops
Does Nox Metals supply aluminum blanks for CNC job shops?
Yes. Nox Metals saw-cuts aluminum plate to the blank size you need at −0 / +1/8″, so blanks arrive slightly oversize for machining to finished size, with a price and ship date online in under 60 seconds.
Can I order mixed sizes for several machining jobs on one order?
Yes. Add a line for each blank, in any mix of alloys, thicknesses and sizes, with your part number on each line. You can also upload a PO to start the quote.
Materials
What aluminum alloys does Nox stock?
We stock aluminum plate in 6061-T651, 7075-T651/T7351, 7050-T7451 and cast mold aluminum plate (5000-series cast), plus cast tool and jig plate. Wrought 5052, 5083 and 5086 are not stocked. Contact sales@noxmetals.co for wrought plate.
Do you sell steel or stainless?
Yes. We stock stainless steel round bar in 304/304L, 316/316L, 17-4 PH and 416. Other steels, nickel alloys and titanium are available by request; contact sales@noxmetals.co.
What thicknesses are available?
Plate from 0.25″ up to 24.5″ thick, depending on alloy and temper. 6061-T651 goes up to 12″, 7075-T651 and 7050-T7451 up to 8″, and 7075-T7351 up to 6″; for thicker plate, contact sales@noxmetals.co. See live stock in the instant quote.
Do you carry aluminum round bar?
Yes. We stock 6061-T6511 round bar from 0.5″ to 17″ diameter and 6061-T6511 flat bar from 0.25″ to 4″ thick. Tube and angle are available by request; contact sales@noxmetals.co.
Shipping & Delivery
How fast does Nox ship?
Your ship date is shown with your instant quote, before you order. It depends on material, size and stock, and sourced material depends on supplier availability. Expedited shipping is available.
Does Nox ship nationwide?
Yes. We ship to all 50 states via common carrier from our Detroit-area facility. Shipping is allocated by weight, and your quote shows cutting, shipping to your ZIP and tax before you pay.
Do you offer local pickup?
Yes. Local pickup is available at our Ferndale facility at 1350 Jarvis St, Ferndale, MI 48220. Contact us to arrange a pickup time.
Quality
Are mill certs included with every order?
Yes. Full mill certs with heat/lot traceability ship with every order and are saved in your portal. Certificates of conformance and country-of-origin documentation are also available.
What tolerances does Nox hold?
Standard saw-cut tolerance is −0 / +1/8″ (0.125″) on length and width, so parts arrive slightly oversize for machining to finished size. Thickness and flatness follow mill spec. Tighter tolerances are available on request, depending on material and cut geometry.
Is your aluminum domestically sourced?
We offer domestic-origin and DFARS-compliant material alongside any-origin options. Origin is documented on every mill cert.
